Free for every team. No ads.

Your whole team, on the same page.

Battleplan is team chat and scheduling for sports teams. Talk as a team, plan games and practices, see who's coming, run quick polls, and keep the lineup and league rules where everyone can find them.

The team chat in Battleplan: a coach's message with thumbs-up and heart reactions, a game card for Saturday's game against the Eagles, and a poll about the team dinner.

Everything a team needs. Keep everyone on the same page.

One place for the conversation, the calendar, and the paperwork, so nobody has to dig through a group text to find out when warmups start.

  1. Team chat

One conversation for the whole team, with everyone's name on every message.

    • Share photos from practice and game day.
    • React with a quick thumbs-up, reply to a specific message, or @mention someone so they're sure to see it.
    • Coaches pin what matters to the top of the chat and send announcements that reach everyone.
    • New games, practices, and polls show up right in the chat.
The team chat: a game card for Saturday's game against the Eagles, a poll about team dinner, a teammate's reply with a laughing reaction, and the coach pointing everyone to the lineup in Documents.
  2. Schedule and RSVPs

Games, practices, meetings, and team events in one schedule, with every detail people ask about.

    • Going, Maybe, or Not going in one tap, and a live count for the coach.
    • Opponent, home or away, directions to the field, and add to your calendar.
    • See every team you're on in one schedule.
Event details for a game against the Eagles: date and time, opponent, field and directions, a reminder one day before, Going, Maybe, and Not going buttons, and the list of who is going.
The team schedule: upcoming practices, games, and a season kickoff barbecue, each with its time, place, and how many people are going.
  3. Polls

Settle the jersey color, the tournament weekend, or where to eat after the game, without forty replies.

    • One choice or several, with results as people vote.
    • See who voted for what, or keep the poll anonymous.
    • Set a closing time, or close it whenever you're ready.
A poll in the team chat, under the coach's message about Saturday's game: team dinner after the game? Tacos leads with 3 votes, Pizza has 1, and Burgers has none. Four people have voted.
  4. Documents

The lineup, the league rules, the waiver, the field directions: one tap away for everyone on the team.

    • Upload files or save links, like a sign-up form or the league website.
    • Pin the important ones to the top.
    • The team gets a heads-up when something new is added.
The Documents tab: a pinned Saturday lineup and league rules, a link to field directions, and a player waiver, each with its size, who added it, and when.
  5. Players and parents

Every team has a roster of players. It works for adult and youth teams alike.

    • Join and tap "I'm a player" to RSVP for yourself, or "I'm here for a player" to RSVP for your child.
    • Kids don't need accounts. Their parents and guardians answer for each one.
    • Coaches see which players are coming, with coaches and others counted apart.
An event's RSVPs: a parent answers Going for Emma #7. The list shows 1 of 3 players going, each player with the person who answered for them, and the coach going under Coaches and others.

Questions

Is Battleplan really free?

Yes. Every team gets every feature at no cost, and there are no ads. Each team has room for 500 MB of photos and files, and admins can see what's using the space and free some up.

Do kids need an account?

No. Accounts are for adults 18 and older. The coach adds the players, and kids' parents and guardians join and answer for them. Adult players join and claim their own spot on the roster.

How do people join my team?

Create a team, then share its invite link or QR code, or add people by email. People can also type in the team's invite code.

Can I use it on my computer?

Yes. Open Battleplan in your browser and sign in with Google, Apple, or your email. It's the same account you'll use in the phone apps.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account at the bottom. You can also ask us by email. See Delete your account for the details.
